I love this finished item - it can be styled so many different ways and is so fun to play around with. I did adapt the pattern and just turn the work as for a short row wherever the pattern changed from knit to purl, so that it was nearly a no purl project. Will definitely be making more than one Update: I have not worn this out of the house a single time without a stranger complimenting it, it's just such a cool piece
